My friend Mya came over and we made some traditional potato latkes. The kids couldn't have any, but they certainly smelled like them after we were done frying em up.
Here are some pics:
Jacob and Daddy...about to light the menorah. (Pics of Mase and menorah to come later in the week)
Babies first Hanukkah presents. A teething froggy and a teething blanket. Ooh la la. Kids are happily playing with them this morning after breakfast.
Here, Jacob is really happy he's Jewish and it's Hanukkah!
Mason and Jacob sing, "I have a little dreidal".
**One interesting side note from the weekend was that Mason and Jacob were hanging out in Mason's crib having twin time on Saturday when things got ugly. Mason suddenly kicked Jacob in his diaper between the legs, lifted her legs to her chest and farted on him. He just laid there crying and I had to take him out of the crib. Not sure if this is a sign of things to come, but it was really really funny.**
