LIVE from Hoboken...Nana & Papa!!
As mentioned in an earlier post...Nana & Papa came to visit us for a couple of weeks. It's hard to believe actually as the time absolutely FLEW by. Every day was an adventure. (for Mason & Jacob at least.) They were spoiled like crazy. In fact, the next day after Nana and Papa left Mason demanded a Golden Egg. Go figure.
They had lots of fun with their Nana & Papa. They got lots of new fancy English clothes. A big thanks to Auntie Melinda as well!! They got cell phones and puzzles, a new tea set, and a new treat almost every day.
As mentioned before, Mason's favorite gift from Nana & Papa was her new purse. She still takes it everywhere with her. So funny.
Nana also taught them many englishisms. Imagine little Mase & Jake saying things like, "Oh-dear-me!" and "Lovely." It's wicked cute. Nana also taught little Mason to say "Gucci" and "Diamonds". Yes, Mason was obsessed with Nana's earrings, bracelets, necklace (or beads as Mase says) and rings. Next time Nana comes she's taking Mason to Canal street to get a Louis Vuitton bag I was told.
Nana did take a nasty fall when she was here. In the big city. After she had been to Canal Street, but unfortunately before she got to eat her tasty ribs. She sprained her ankle. Poor Nana. She needed "boo boo Cookie". But anyway...
Here are some pics from the trip. Love them. Like you know you do.

Who's all bandaged up?

Nana!!! No, it wasn't even Ian's fault.

Mason, posing in one of her new fancy English outfits.

Too cool for school. (clearly)

Please stop taking pictures of me. Even in my fancy English get-up.

OK...much happier now that we are in the elevator. Going for Sunday brunch, of course.

A girl never goes anywhere without her purse. Or her Daddy.
A little windy but cute, nonetheless.

Contents of purse: 1 shakey egg, 1 plastic cell phone, 1 plastic monkey.

Photoshoot for Nana & Papa.

One of Nana & Papa's many talents was stacking blocks.

Just putting on the finishing touches.

Only for Mason and her tutu to knock it down.

And then Sir Galahad does some destruction of his own.

Ahh...Papa reading his favorite book to his favorite granddaughter.

The Lieberman's
As some of you may or may not know, my parents-in-laws are in town. Yes, the English contingency is in Hoboken. (Well, actually Atlantic City at the moment). But Nana and Papa arrived last Thursday. And the kids couldn't be more ecstatic! Oh how they love their Nana & Papa. They brought them so many cute clothes and toys and chocolate!!
And best of all, Mason now has a new pretty hand bag which she LOVES!!! From the moment she received it, she hasn't put it down. She even took it to the park on Friday. Which only makes her cuter. Of course, a girl needs to accessorize!

Mason ready to hit the town.

Jacob telling me to "f off" in Italian. Getting ready for World Cup I think.

Walking to the park with Mama and Nana.

My FAVORITE shot of the day. C'mon, this is seriously the best picture EVER.

And down the slide once again.

Hangin' with Nana & Papa.
These next two videos really say it all.

Mason & Papa with her new backpack on.

It's hard to keep up with such a cool 21 month old.

And back home again.

Bathtime = Funtime
The twins have really taking to their bath without bath seats lately. Thanks to Harvey the genius who's idea it was to buy a bubble machine and put it on only when they sat down in the tub like a big boy and girl. Now they love to go into the bath and draw all over the walls. They really look forward to it. Jacob even says, "bubble bath". He's wicked smaht.
Nothing to see here
Oh, just some adorable, AMAZINGLY cute pictures of the best looking twins in the universe. That's all.

Notice Mason is holding a shot. Not the kind of shots mommy likes, but a shot nonetheless.

Trying to be sweet to each other.

This is apparently hiLARious.

This is not. Looks like someone sat on poor Jacob's puppy.

Up to no good. For sure. This is the "plotting" look.

Jacob DOES love his sister. Awwww...huggers.

Mother's Day #2
Last weekend was Mother's Day. These are my mother's day flowers that were delivered a week before the actual Mother's Day. You see...Mason and Jacob are very savvy. On the actual day I received a silver heart key chain locket. It was engraved from Mason & Jacob. It must have taken them ages to find something with their names on it!
A shout out to the most thoughtful babies in the world. Thanks for making Mother's day so much fun.
XOXO
Hoboken Music & Arts Festival
The Hoboken Music & Arts Festival was a couple weekends ago. And we took the babies. Even though it was the hottest day of the year. They were styling. Some might say Mason looked like she was about to board the bus to Atlantic City...We took them out for about an hour. But they turned all red and sweaty. Took them out of the stroller at one point but it took like 20 minutes to walk 2 blocks. They were sweaty messes. But fun was had by all.

Before we went out. Jacob not too happy to be in this shot.

This was after an hour of being strolled around.

After naps. Totally refreshed.

But way too windy to keep a hat on.

My Little Princess
A couple months back Mase & Jake's friend Zoe was having a princess & super hero birthday party. So I bought Mason this little tutu with a crown and magic wand. She just started to show interest in it a week or so ago. And she looks so damn cute. She even says "tutu". And can put it on herself.
I got Jacob an outfit that said, "Mommy's super hero" which he's wearing in one of the pictures below but no props. The boy needs some props. I'm thinking maybe a sword and a breast plate or something. Anyway...look at our little tutu wearer below.

Twin Reunion
P to the "A" "R" "K"
So we've been going to the park whenever we can lately. Mostly because they love being outside. And I love what they love. Duuuuuuuuh. I've noticed that I've been taking a lot of the same pictures. Jacob in his shades. Mason in her shades. Jacob running around aimlessly. Mason going down the slide. Enjoy.

Yes, he is wearing a Led Zepplin tee.

Yes, I'm the coolest baby in Hoboken.
Jacob the Wanderer.

I may be short. But I can get some serious hang time.

Weeeeeeeeeee.

Taking a break. Park is tiring when you're so cute.

The force is strong in this one.

And stronger in this one I fear.
