Wow. How sad am I. It's 2:25 in the afternoon and I'm sitting here watching "The Bonnie Hunt Show" while she interviews Pee Wee Herman. No joke. When I was working and wanting to take a break, sometimes I would go into the conference room and flip through the TV stations. I used to see all of these crap day time shows and think "how are these shows even on? who watches them?" Well, people like me.
But this blog isn't about me. It's about them. The cute ones. Mason and Jacob.
What's new in their world...
The are both talking up storms. Nothing too crazy or discernible but they definitely have a few
words. And funny enough they pretty much say the same words. They are:
MamaDada (this is Mason's absolute FAVORITE word)
Up Bubbles Buh by Hi Purple (this is an odd one...but in one of their books "What color is your underwear" - Tommy Turtle's underwear is "purple, purple, purple, purple."
Block
Baaa (as in the noise a sheep makes)
PuffsBurke (this is a new one I just learned that they say today. Burke is Mason's boyfriend from around the corner)
Nana (their grandmother in England but Mason also uses this word for Banana)
Papa SocksAnd those are all the ones I can think of for now. But I think they're wicked smaht.
Mason also knows how to take off her coat.
Jacob dances all the time by bouncing up and down. Again, the cutest thing ever I've yet to truly catch on video.
Mason does a dance from "Yo Gabba Gabba" called "the mini spinny". Again, I need to catch this on video but it goes:
Arm up...wiggle it around.
Arm down...wiggle it around.
Turn around. And that's the mini spinny. (Yes, she even turns around.)
They've also started building things with their mega blocks. Sometimes Jacob just likes to sit on them. But I noticed this morning they were actually building something together. Which was SO cute. But then, as always, Jacob knocked it down. His other name is "Destructor!"
Some pics I took at the end of last week:

I tried to make Mason wear her cute little hat. She kept it on for the picture.

Jacob's first band aid on his little face. What a tough guy. He cut his chin mysteriously. Not sure how. But I was definitely responsible.
