Jolly ole England Pics!!

Here are the pics you've all been waiting for. I know, it's tough to go so long without seeing the little cuties. I feel the same way the days that I work. Even though I'm working from Starbucks. Like 10 minutes away.

Here you go...

I know there are a lot here. Like, a wicked lot. But there were so many cute pics I found it really hard to edit them. Enjoy.

Mason, sharing her Yo Gabba Gabba book with Papa and GG.

GG and Papa reading Jacob "Brown Bear". I think he's pissed at the Green Frog.

Mason is very advanced. Papa taught her how to do puzzles. Can you say "wicked smaht"!

Cousin Lewis...age 3.

Uncle Harvey's sweatshirt is a little big. I'm just glad he likes a proper football team. (Lewis that is)

Bond...James Bond. Daniel Craig look out.

Mason contemplating brushing her pretty hair whilst thinking about what evening wear she will adorn.

Hello. Goodbye.

Little Jacob can never get enough kisses. Especially from Auntie Mel.

The Three Musketeers playing with their balls.

Man hug.

Up to no good.

All the cousins are happy...but where's Mr. Samuel?

Oh...looksy here...Samuel + Nana & Papa takes the attention of Ms. Mason. And she's not very happy about that, is she?

The Lieberman / Briggs clan. Happy happy. Joy Joy!
FYI - it's really hard to take a picture of 3 babies and a toddler.

Presenting Mr. Samuel Tate Briggs. What a Cutie McCutens!

Definitely "Father of the Year". For sure.

Yo Gabba Gabba works its magic even across the ocean. Even grandpas like it!

Mason after her 7 1/2 hour transatlantic journey home. (too many vodka tonics i think).

"Get me the "F" out of this seat. Please let me lick the airplane floor again Mommy!"

'Ello Govna

Just a quick note to let all our fans and lovers know that we're back. From jolly old England that is.

For those of you I don't talk to on a regular basis (which is pretty much everyone except for my sister, mother and a couple friends) Harvey, Mason, Jacob and I were over in England visiting Nana & Papa, Aunt Melinda & Uncle Chris and cousins Lewis and Samuel this past week. We had a blast!!!

So much to tell. The highlights included:
-the plane ride over
-the plane ride home
-nana & papa grandkid sitting for the weekend while harv and i went to a masquerade ball and clay pigeon shooting
-my new nephew, Samuel
-my cute 3-yr-old nephew lewis with the best little kid english accent ever

I'm afraid I must rest my weary traveling head -- but I didn't want you to think we forgot about you. Just been busy. Drinking tea. And eating biscuits.

Stay tuned....

Dirty girl

This weekend we were at our friends' (Mark and Sharon's) place when we looked over and caught Mason eating dirt from one of the flower pots. Is dirt so bad? I know that when I was a kid I ate dirt and I'm pretty sure that Ann did too. Are we too clean in the Western World? Has cleanliness led to the increase in asthma, allergies or even insulin-dependent diabetes? I'm not sure, but just to be safe, from now on I'll be ensuring Jacob and Mason eat a pound of garden dirt every day.

Cutest Little Pats Fans Eva!!!

Tonight is the Pats 2009 season debut. We got Brady back, it's a beautiful sunny day here in Hoboken and Mason and Jacob are sporting their brand new Bruschi and Brady jerseys. So life is swell. Being that Mase and Jake are one year older now, maybe they can appreciate the game more. Or maybe Jacob will just get pissed at me that I'm watching something other than Yo Gabba Gabba. Who knows.

Here are some pics, pics and more pics of the cutest little pats fans!!

Go Pats!!

A day in the life ...

Poor Mason. This is what she has to put up with every day... One of her favourite games is emptying the basket of plastic fruit and veg and then putting them all back in. Jacob, however, has his own agenda. In our family Jacob is known as Godzilla.

Whos daughter is this?

All I'm gonna say is that the girl has good taste.

"Oooh...is that an enormous bottle of Stoli Blueberry Vodka I see? Or am I dreaming?"

"Maybe I can get some if I pick it up. Who cares if it weighs more that I do."

"Here you go Aunt Jennie. You have it. You can get me back later."

Climbing Skillz

When Mase and Jake were playing in grandma and grandpa's front yard this weekend I noticed they had a new skill. Climbing. Like, the stairs. The hard, dangerous ones made out of stone. I'm not sure if I actually should have let them do this, but we were watching them. Kinda closely. They've never really had the opportunity to climb stairs before since we don't have any. But I'm glad to know they can do it. Kind of amazing actually - that they just knew what to do, never really having seen stairs before. Not like Chris Angel or David Blane amazing - but more in that baby genius sort of way.

Jacob goes first. Uncle Andy spots him.

Mase is very concentrated. Do you blame her? She doesn't wanna hurt that pretty face.

Live action stair climbing. Very unsafe. Banter btwn Jennie and I. Awesome.

Labor Day Weekend -- Milford Style

As mentioned in an earlier post, this past weekend we visited our family. Actually Harvey and I went to a wedding on Saturday night, leaving grandma and grandpa to look after the little ones. They were actually really excited about it. Mason & Jacob. And grandma and grandpa. And apparently they were perfect angels. They ate well. Napped well. And even slept through the night in a strangeish crib. Personally, I think grandma and grandpa were so exhausted they just didn't hear the little criers. But what do I know. I'm only a mom of 1 year really. An amateur.

Here are some pics from the weekend. The outside ones are out in front of grandma and grandpa's house.

Mason just LOVES her grandpa.

Jacob just loves his Yo Gabba Gabba. Even in book form.

Grandpa reading Yo Gabba Gabba.

Mason strutting her stuff on the front lawn.

Jacob chillin' in the shade while grandpa puts on music from his ipod.

Mason showing off her walking abilities in front of Grandma.

Jacob looking through the window of a tepee grandma and grandpa found in their garage. Don't ask.

Mason playing with Mama's phone in the tepee.

Big air.

Bigger air.

Lions and Tigers and Goats! Oh my!

So this past Labor Day weekend we were up in Boston visiting the fam. We had a great time.

We even took Mason and Jacob to the zoo. That's right. Their first trip to the zoo. And they had a blast. They actually did really well. So thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the great field trip idea. (for the record it was Southwick Zoo) And also for the record, next time we go, Grandma has to get a camel ride!! Jacob insists.

We had lots of help as the newlyweds, Aunt Jennie and Uncle Andy came, as well as Uncle Mat. Mason and Jacob especially enjoyed the petting zoo. Or a little place I like to call goat city. Well, Jacob loved it. Mason was a little suspect and gave many of the goats her evil eye. Which is perfectly understandable.

Below I've posted way to many pics. I have many more. But I'm just SO in love with my kids it was really hard to edit them. Enjoy.

I don't know what animal this is. But it made me laugh. Mason said it looked like Jacob.

Uncle Mat giving Jacob his own personal horsey ride.

Proud Grandparents taking their grandkids to their first zoo.

Jacob loves the goats. Mason loves her Dada.

This goat just told a joke. Mason thought it sounded like one of Da das.

"This goat smells worse than Jacob, she thinks."

"So many goats. So little time. I must touch them all!"

Self-explanatory.

Family photo. Yes, that's Harvey holding Mason, not a monkey.

Jacob looks on at a baby cow (or a calf, I believe they're called). Mason licks the doo doo off the fence.

Jacob couldn't get enough of the animals.

The calf that caught Jacob's attention.

The newlyweds pose by some monkey rocks.

Wiped. Totally wiped. Ahhhhh.
